"A 12-year-old, African spur-thighed tortoise recently had its left front leg amputated at Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and is doing just fine with a swiveling wheel attached to his shell."
The swivel wheel was attached by an epoxy adhesive so no drilling into his shell was needed. I know, you are all asking the same question... can you still sit on and ride this tortoise?! We all know that through the ages, tortoise rides have always been a "shell-of-a good time". <-- gnuck gunck.
