Epic Lightsaber Battle Flash Mob in Washington Square Park NYC

Over the weekend, Washington Square Park in NYC held an ultra-geeky lightsaber battle of over 1000 people all trying to bash each other up in the name of Star Wars. It all went down on September 24, 2011, you can check out the organizers [ here ]. Apparently, the rules were simple... show up, be safe, bring your lightsaber(s) of choice and have a sith of a jedi time.
